RTS SuperMax Ford C4 Transmission Case Kit

The RTS SuperMax Ford C4 Transmission Case is a completely new aftermarket design, developed by RTS engineers from the ground up as a stronger and more refined replacement for the original Ford C4 case. 

Cast from high-strength A356-T6 aluminium, the SuperMax case has been engineered to address a number of known limitations and weak points found in the factory casting. Rather than simply reproducing the OEM design, RTS has added material and reinforcement in critical areas, improved component clearances, upgraded sealing surfaces and refined machining throughout the case to create a better foundation for performance C4 transmission builds.

Critical areas have been strengthened and OEM-style pockets and unnecessary material reliefs have also been removed from key areas to increase rigidity and provide a more substantial casting.

Internally, the valve body area has been revised with additional clearance to accommodate larger aftermarket billet valve bodies. Servo bores, modulator passages and other critical machined features have also been refined for improved fitment and sealing.

Threaded areas have received particular attention, with improved thread tolerances and increased thicknesses throughout the case. The band adjuster also uses the coarse-thread configuration commonly preferred in performance C4 applications.

Designed for serious street, drag and high-performance applications, the RTS SuperMax C4 case provides transmission builders with a stronger, purpose-built platform without relying on an increasingly difficult-to-source factory casting.

RTS SFI Bellhousing 

Using the latest casting technologies, RTS has designed these cast aluminium bellhousings allowing many popular engine/transmission combinations to be easily mated together. They have gone through SFI’s explosion-proof testing procedures and have come out the other side with a SFI 30.1 rating! Manufactured from one-piece A356-T6 cast aluminium, they are roughly 5 times stronger than standard replacement bellhousings and can withstand the harshest tyre shake, while still being able to fit under most floorpans.
